Despite various complains and talks the people who owns the land in between Bayu Ferringhi & Ferringhi Villa refuses to stop burning extensively.
This is a residential area and we have newborn babies, toddlers, senior citizens who has to breathe in the smoke every day and night.
ARE WE IN INDONESIA where people are regarded as uneducated about pollution>?? What is happening here????
This is unbearable!!!
Some say burning is in Teluk Bahang... We are sure it is the land where the water fall is next to Ferringhi Villa as that is the direction it is coming from plus our neighbours has gone there before with the authorities....
ACT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

This is a living area where senior citizens, babies, women and men live......Do we have to tolerate the excessive smoke into our home every day? Our clothes & house smell of smoke and we are now all coughing...
Help I have a toddler!
I hope there will be some warning /punishment for those people doing the open burning. Thanks.

Police should not be blind and make the traffic flow smooth.
1) Many of my friends and I have encountered INCOMPLETE parking receipts being issed to us when we pay the parking fee. Road tax disc number and car number plate are not being written down onto the parking receipt. Some parking attendants refused to issue parking receipts. When we request them to do so, they will give show us a very long face and grumbled.
2) Parking in front of Red Rock Hotel and along Gurney Drive (Night Time)
I was demanded to pay in RM2 (In front of Red Rock Hotel) and RM3 (Along Gurney Drive) as parking fee by those authorised MPPP parking attendant. Reason given by them were,"senang, pay in advance and you boleh park sampai besok pagi". Are they authorised to do so? I personally don't think they are authorised to do so. From what I understood if not mistaken, by right, they should issue the yellow invoice first and follow up with the issuance of receipt when we pay up the parking fee.
Just wondering, has the City Council now under the new CAT government put in any effort to improve the present current parking system? As far as I am concern, so far since 8th March, 2008, I haven't seen much improvement on the parking system as compared to during BN time. I personally think that it is high time that the MPPP seriously consider implementing the coupon parking system, similar to system implemented by MPSP or in Singapore. Yes, some (or even Gerakan) may argued that many parking attendants may be out of job due to this implementation. As the old saying goes, if you want to be paid well, please work properly. If you lose your job for not working properly, please do not blame others but yourself. Nobody is indispensable.
