Recently, there was a public feedback on the road in the Star:
========================================
PPP, please resurface Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling
I am glad that once again letters have been published to voice frustrations that the cobblestone road surface in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling has been a bane of motorists and the problem left unattended for many years.
The cobblestone idea is good but the surface is too rough and unsuitable.
Instead of resurfacing the road which will cause inconvenience to road users and businesses there and probably cost a lot, I suggest the use of concrete or some other alternative material to level the surface but at the same time maintain the cobblestones, the cost of which had been spent. This way, the problem can be solved overnight for the time being.

The following is the feedback from MPPP.
Tuan,
Sekian, dimaklumkan.

As
visible from the Penang Watch website, the team has two objectives 1)
to encourage the Penang City Council to be more efficient in dealing
with complaints and 2) to encourage the citizens to be more proactive.
For the second objective, we can seen the active stream of complaints

As a U-garden resident, we need authorities to stop those people from burning again. They (land belongs to boon siew) open burning almost every single day.

Recently some road repairs done have not been up to expectation. In fact, the patches have sunk! Feedback to JKR were met with no responses.
The locations are:
1) Down the hill from Equitorial Hotel (see photo)
2) At the junction of Tingkat Bukit Jambul 1 and Tingkat Bukit Jambul (near Alphine Towers by IJM)
