istory will repeat as when
istory will repeat as when PPP was strongest in the 60s. the time will come for Gerakan after the Lim Chong Eu era. Afterall if> We do not need babyfaced politician to rule Penang like a puppet.
NATO &YES men NOT WELCOME
The RIGHT person for the job must not be a PERSON who are NATO or to put BLUNTLY a YES- MEN.
Look far, NOT the small sweets !
Real hard to pick from the four of the abovementioned cuz they are not better than the hoi polloi islanders !
I do hope that the history of 60s will replay itself but then, possible? Despite the fact that Tun Lim is still available, he is an old statesman forced to retire for good !
There is no better alternative to replace the honourable old statesman till date, so far amongst the younger breed, no one is being able to be groomed to match his statesmanship! We only have all the YES, YA BOLEH kaki, leave us no chance to pick among the better.
Who to blame? We Penangites who discarded Tun Lim 17 years ago now are chewing the poisons ourselves! Why point the fingers to others always?! Use the bloody brains to think about the past mistakes and repent!
The rights and justice are in our hands! Make sure you vote wisely this coming judgement day (general election) and don't be nin-com-poop, cry after you have elected someone untoward!
We must look far, not at the little sweets and favour given during the election time!!
BOOOOOMMM !!
You people may have neglected Chia Kwang Chye, which proves that many are ignorant of the culture of Gerakan!
Since the old President has resigned, Sdr. Cheah has gradually inflated his power ball, throwing it to the field of KTK, testing his skill on how he is dealing with the ball. If KTK were to dribble the ball for too long, he will only prove himself to be a lousy captain, which is exactly according to the plan of his Sdr., for his Sdr. to propoganda on such shilly-shally weakness in leadership, caused to be a negative bias, sentiment to tarnish KTK's leadership!
I personally admire Cheah's perseverance and shrewdness in playing the politic game so impressive that he has surpassed the standard of his ex-veteran Dr. Goh Cheng Teik.
Cheah today has all the troops and ammunitions in the rival of powers and positions without fear of tough confrontation from any other factions, except the semi-retired President! Until such time when the old man has retired for good, Cheah will plant all his mines, and, that is the time he will bargain for his privilages!
Until such time, KTK will be preserved within the mines field of Cheah! Once a wrong move.......BOOOOOOOMMMMM !!!!
Penang C.M
Only men who are "YES" men and NATO in culture are suited to be Penang C .M who can hold office for more than FIVE years and beyond.
All they had to do is "MARKING=TIME" and "Gagi Buta" for five years and beyond
HOPE in vain....
If the requirement, criterion to be D CM is that simple as you said: "YES SIR" "YA PAK" capable then can be qualified, why then we need men? Even women or pons can be voted here to be suited! They can play much more better SHOW than men for sure!
Oh! Sad enough! The good and daring statesman is now getting senile, may miss him anytime. Till now no replacement yet! The present breeds are all the same, we have no better choice!
"SUSAH, TAK TAHU MACAM MANA BOLEH JADI KUAT!"...............................
Penang need a CM who is dare
Penang need a CM who is dare to dream big and think big to uphold the well being of Penangites.
The BN's candidates are only 3% away from non-BN candidates
This survey has made record as the survey here which recorded the highest rise in votes in the shortest time -a prove that it really touches the nerve of the readers here ! Another point is : the distance between BN candidates and non-BN candidates are only 6 % apart-meaning that it takes only 3% to close the gap ! BN = 53% ; Non-BN =47%. Given the space for errors the votes are indeed close. The responses show also that readers are making very serious scrutinies of the candidates here. Keep it up. We will keep this poll on for a while yet.

LIST OUT WHAT THE GOVERNMENT CAN DO - with Transparency and accountability
STRAIGHTEN OUT RULES AND REGULATIONS - Transparency, accountability, credibility,

to win the Trust of the People and not only for the Party or Politics!
A DREAM???
Not a NATO for sure
Not only do we need a CM who dare.BUT he must NOT be BORN a NATO like you know WHO.Penangites has ENOUGH of the like of him after all these YEARS.
WHY was he born a man of NATO? Is it his PARENTS faul? Your guess is as good as my.Baby face as some of you call him. To me he has got a CUNNING FACE and a smile that is not HONEST in look. AS MOST NATO'S PERSONS ARE OF SUCH A look.
