uncontrolled and
overdevelopment along North Coast of Penang, ie, Tanjung Tokong, Tanjong
Bunga and Batu Ferringhi. What type of development and local planning do we want? If you
are a resident living along the north Coast, this overdevelopment will
affect
you badly in the near future. This trend, if unchecked, may
likely to happen to other districts of Penang. If you want sustainable
development and enjoy living in Penang, come and voice your concerns.
The main issues that will be highlighted and
discussed at the
Saturday night Forum are:
The Forum will
highlight many inconsistencies relating to limits on density,
construction
projects on very steep hills and other uncontrolled developments.
This overdevelopment if not quickly resolved will be
serious
and far reaching consequences.
