Dear Mr Tan Cheng Chui (President MPPP),
Noise pollution
In our area there is a Chinese temple which is actually just a terrace house in a residential area. If it conducts prayers, it is quite all right. But it allows singers using loudspeakers to sing at the top of their voices. They have these singing sessions from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm nightly when they hold certain festivals. They have sung irritatingly loud for the past 3 nights (23,24,25 Sep). This is certainly bad for elderly folks and working people as they cannot go to sleep at 10 pm. Since it is in a residential area, can the temple be relocated elsewhere? If not, it must be banned from using loud speakers. Please reply to say what action will be taken to stop this noise pollution. Thank you.
The images below show the location of this temple.
