HQ to cost DAP RM3m
GEORGE TOWN: The DAP will spend up to RM3 million to acquire a building as its state headquarters. State DAP chief Chow Kon Yeow said this was in view of the doubling of the party's state branches from 40 to 80 following the March 8 general election.
"We are looking to shift into a three-storey building to house our headquarters," he said yesterday while announcing the party's "Victory Dinner With the People" on Oct 28. The office is now housed in a single-storey building.

As long as not state money
As long as not state money but supporter's money, I don't see what's so wrong with that. And Rm3mil for a four storey building in Penang is reasonable and not extravagant.
