Police Power Training Workshop Press statement

Police power abuse and death in custody are getting serious from day to day. This phenomenon is worried and the further actions need to take to overcome this problem. Knowing police power is very important for us, as we at least have the knowledge to protect ourselves if happen to be a victim in a police brutality case.

Gerakan Mansuhkan ISA of Penang going to organize a “Police Power Training” Workshop this coming 15 June 2008, at Art Forest Café, language is English and Bahasa Malaysia, trainer is S. Arul, Secretary-General of PSM. Past 10 years, Arul have handled different cases of police brutality and police misconduct cases, he also an experience trainer.
