A resident's unit `smashed' -an intimidation or incidental bad security ?

According to 2 owners -one already staying there and another yet to move in, Sean's unit had been broken into and even `smashed' in the last few days. If you remember: Sean was the residents who wrote here and complained about the Rm450.00 `cleaning'/protection fees in this web site. But he kept quiet on the damage he suffered -creating an intimidating atmosphere to the rest of the residents. A resident even SMS to me to say he is scared of coming to the meeting tomorrow lest he get `targetted' by the thugs ! Well if everyone get scarred and stay at home helplessly and pay the thugs as they want this is precisely the `game plan' of those interested party !

My advice is : open up the issue and get whatever help from others who have good experience to share with you. If the residents get organsied you have more people than the thugs. You have the laws on your side. Why be scared ?

Sean is said to have reported to police and the police did come to check out. No results yet-but if another case were to happen the suspects would have a problem to run away because from now on they are marked !

We understand if Sean keep quiet -he may feel intimidated. His h/phone no. is incontactible again -just like the last time after the 1st meeting. I advice any residents to speak to him personally to give him the encouragement. Anyone else could be targetted later, But if the residents unite the developer will not be able to intimidate you into making unreasonable payments. And they do have many dirty tricks up their sleeves on this -judging from experiences in most high rises in Penang.

I hope someone at Regency Ht can write to us about the damages at Sean's unit -or better still send us a photo. It is good to expose the bad deeds so the people can stand up to fight the dirty tactics used to intimidate the residents.

Hope the residents can show up tomorrow to dispel any fear the interested parties want to instill on you !

The success is on yours side !

I am disappointed to get to know such happening in RH! But anyway somebody will have to prove by evidence whether this is incidental or a conspired "thug's job"!

Residents of RH must really think hard now if they want to stay in such gangsters ridden homes? Or work together to clean up all these scums so as they can really live a cosy life henceforth, in the long run!

This is the hooligan's tactic which worked in the 80's and now people are mostly awared of this monkey trick, have equipped with knowledge of laws to counter act with such 'hit and run' act of cowardice!

Instead of being scared by the hooligans, in my opinion, I will prefer to have them scared off by the law-men so as to ensure peaceful living in a real home owned by you all and fully under yours' control! It is ridiculously unbelievable that there is still such Management who prefer to work with those unfashionable secret society and put their valued clients under duress! This is a typical 'fly by night' attitude and one of the worst marketing strategy ever adopt by such so-called 'Corporate Company'!

You have no better way out now! It's either you fight back and gain control of yours' homeland or you have to consider selling off the property which unfortunate enough, were mistakes of wrong investment from the outset dealing with such unscrupulous Developer! By hiding away thinking that one will be saved there upon is somekind of "Ah Q" spirit as those creeps will not let go 'their meats' and will continue to act like predators and you will be haunted for the rest of the years!

Treat this incident as a challange and motivation for you all to form together and retaliate against such unjustified ill-treatments by the idiots who had pocketed your monies yet wihtout consents of thanks-givings!

Form a lawful organisation, a grouped powers, confront the developer and ask for your rights and ensure their contractual obligations being carried out and fulfilled to yours satisfactions!

With Moxie, the success is on Yours' Side!

Sean's unit damage

I have talked to Sean. His house's damage basically :

- grille and main wooden door spoilt, because of broke-in by force.

- Interesting part. Someone knows the best moment to work, since his alarm system is not activated due to renovation.

I am going to stop from providing more detail (sorry...), unless Sean reveal more by himself.

Additional but related:

- I heard from reliable source that there were another unit has been broken-in few days ago. They force-in by using grille cutting machine, quite heavy though, which need 13A socket. It is unbelievale, but my source said it is true.

:(

Sean's unit damage

I believe PenangWatch will be happy to take photo or video regarding the damage or even related it to the media, Right?

Or, simply sent in photos of the damages as appeared in the

http://www.penangwatch.net/complaints

Sean and others have to do the first step before others can realize it! The BALL is still in Sean's hand!
